Bury
GP Federation are looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Officer
with the opportunity to partake in an apprenticeship and gain a business
administration or equivalent qualification (level dependent upon
experience/qualifications).
The
hours are full-time, 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, based onsite at our open
plan Offices in Bury (BL9 5BT)
Salary
will start £23,000.00 per annum on commencement and be reviewed upon completion of apprenticeship/training

Main duties of the job
Job Summary
- To provide an efficient and confidential administrative support service to BGPF and the wider team
- Maintain office systems, which contribute to the efficiency of the department
- Support the Operational Manager with the day to day running of the clinics
- Provide support to projects undertaken by BGPF
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Booking and arranging meetings including room bookings for internal/external staff and visitors
- Provide an efficient and confidential administrative support service to the BGPF team
- Co-ordination/organising of BGPF related events including room hire and any supplies/refreshments etc.
- Ordering of stationery/kitchen supplies and ensure stationery supplies are monitored
- Assist PA in diary management for senior management team as and when required and cover during periods of leave
- Monitor company inbox and delegate the action/request to the relevant staff member
- Collect and manage data from various sources
- Manage company folders/files
- Support the Operational Manager with the day to day running of the clinics
- Support the Medical Director with complaints and compliments management
- Comms updates internally and on company social media i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
- Assist HR in recruitment i.e., advertising roles, uploading JDs etc. NHS Jobs & Indeed
- Update the contacts list and key asset list
