Are you an OT, Social Worker or Mental Health Nurse? Fancy a career change? Heres your chance to put your clinical experience to use upskilling and coaching others! We have a brilliant job opportunity for you to join our services in Surrey to develop our psychologically and trauma informed approaches within our supported housing services. Our services house and support our customers who have a homelessness need, mental health issues or are in recovery from substance use.

As our Clinical Lead, youll lead on practice development to support our colleagues who in turn directly support our customers. Youll work closely with your team to embed core competencies as well as providing clinical supervision to the team and facilitating Reflective Practice sessions.

Theres no budget holding or line managing here - youll be primarily focused on enhancing colleagues knowledge and skills, and promoting regular, honest, and supportive feedback.Youll be supporting and developing the team to ensure that holistic, high quality personalised care is delivered which ensures safety, recovery, wellbeing, whilst maximising customers independence and improving outcomes.

  • Shaping our service, developing essential standards and quality outcomes.
  • As an experienced clinician, youll support and develop our team to maximising customers independence and improving outcomes.
  • Youll enhance colleagues knowledge and skills, promoting regular, honest and supportive feedback.
  • Point of contact for individual support and coaching of the managers in our services
  • Theres no red tape or mounds of paperwork here!

  • A Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker, registered with your relevant professional body
  • Youll have the ability to develop and deliver specialist training packages to your colleagues, and embed core competencies
  • Youll provide clinical supervision to the team and facilitate Reflective Practice sessions.
  • Youre able to inspire others and advocate a philosophy of care that is person centred, maintains dignity, independence and ensures it is right for that person at that time.
  • To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Our team

Youll join Charlotte our Operations Manager whos spent almost her whole career working in supported housing with customers experiencing mental health issues and homelessness. She has three grown up sons, and a Parson Russell Terrier called Skipper who keeps her busy outside of work! Were super passionate about what we do, and youll also join our managers Nicky and Jack and their teams, 16 in all who are a supportive bunch.

Youll also join our expanding clinical team within the organisation, and receive supervision from a clinical colleague. Gemma in the clinical team, used to be in the Clinical Lead role so she knows it inside out, and is a true example of how we grow our own colleagues with development opportunities. Gemmas take on the Clinical Lead role: It really is as good as it looks! Your day is your own, you pick your own path.

  • Youll manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, were ok with that!
  • Flexible working hours, hybrid role (were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)
  • Youll cover our Surrey services, in Guildford, Woking, Dorking, Leatherhead and Camberley
  • Well support with your continual professional development as well maintaining your professional registration through regular clinical supervision and reflective practice.
  • This fixed term post has come about as weve received extra funding, and if we provide successful outcomes there is potential for an extension. We also have other opportunities regularly and pride ourselves on our grow our own internal first approach, so there is potential to extend your career journey with us at Home Group!

Youll need a valid Enhanced DBS check to do this job. We pay for that, if you dont have a transferrable one.
