Main duties of the job

You're a clinician, registered with your relevant professional body that may include either Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work.

The ability to develop and deliver specialist training packages to your colleagues, embed core competencies.

Facilitate and lead reflective practice and risk formulation meetings as required within service.

Able to inspire others and advocate a philosophy of support that is person-centred, maintains dignity, independence, and ensures it is right for that person at that time.

Experience of holding a caseload, with evidence of effective caseload management and prioritisation

The ability to work as part of a remote, national team supporting a large number of services.

Our services are spread out nationally, so you'll be working from home, and travelling where you need to work face to face! Here at Home Group clinical intervention work goes hand in hand with day-to-day support. Were trailblazing the way in delivering brilliant long-term outcomes for vulnerable people through integrating health, housing, and care.

In partnership with both senior clinical and operational colleagues you will provide oversight and practice leadership for the central clinical hub.

Supporting our colleagues across the country who work with our customers, youll enable us to maintain high standards of support, embed the principles of Psychologically Informed Environments, support teams to better understand the complexities of customers, and contribute to achieving brilliant outcomes. We aim to support our customers to meet their aspirations and to work towards living independently and feeling enabled.

As a Mental Health Clinical Lead you will:

Help shape our services, developing essential standards and quality outcomes.

As an experienced clinician, support and develop our team to maximise customer independence and improve outcomes.

As a Registered professional, youll lead on practice development to support our staff teams, who in turn directly support our customers.

Enhance colleagues knowledge and skills, promoting regular, honest, and supportive feedback.

Liaise, or assist support staff with liaising, with external professionals when needed, using your expertise to ensure our customers receive the support they require in an Multi-Disciplinary Team way.

Be a point of contact for individual support and coaching of the managers in our services.

Provide support for managers where required in service improvements and audits.

Youll join Jacqui Cartwright Operations Manager in the Midlands, who has managed supported services for over 17 years and the rest of the team including a Senior Occupational Therapist and Mental Health Practitioner Lead. As well as link into our wider senior clinical team you will be part of a well-established MHPL workforce who are very supportive of each other. Were super passionate about what we do! This is a brand-new team working at a national level, even though we are spread out a bit, were a supportive bunch and will help you settle right in.

About the job

Flexible working hours (were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)

To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Youll manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, were ok with that!

This is a hybrid role travelling to our services supporting teams and managers across the country, so no two days will be the same. You'll also work from home when you're not on the road, and if there is a local office you can pop in there too. We promote anchor days to support an office day.

Able to use technology for completing online learning, collaborating with colleagues and writing, updating notes/reports etc.

Well support with your continual professional development as well maintaining your professional registration through regular clinical supervision and reflective practice.

Youll need a valid Enhanced DBS check to do this job. We pay for that if you dont have a transferrable one.
