Position: Housekeeping Evening Assistant

Hours: 17.5 Hours per week (4.30pm - 8.00pm - Monday - Friday)
Salary: £22,308 p.a. (full time 37.5 hours per week) -
Pro rata equates to £10,410.40 for 17.5 hours per week

We seek to appoint an experienced person to join the hospice Housekeeping Team on a fixed term contract for one year to cover maternity leave.
Working as a member of the Housekeeping team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Hospice ensuring work schedules are followed to the standards required.
Main duties of the job
Do you have an eye for detail and take pride in providing first rate housekeeping services?
Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Hospice ensuring work schedules are followed to the standards required. This will involve moving and handling tasks, as directed by the line manager, to be carried out in adherence with Hospice moving and handling policy.
As an experienced housekeeper providing a comprehensive service primarily in the Hospice Education Centre and office areas, you will ensure high levels of cleanliness are maintained at all times. Up to date knowledge of COSHH helpful.
Flexibility will be required as the role will also form part of the team proving housekeeping support across the main Hospice site. Consideration of your surroundings is vital care, compassion and discretion required at all times.
