Catering Manager

Job summary

Rotherham Hospice is seeking a dynamic and creative Catering Manager to lead and elevate our catering services across multiple sites. This is an exciting new position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the overall experience of our patients, visitors, and staff through exceptional food service.

Main duties of the job

The Catering Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistent excellence across all catering functions, including the Hospice Café, in-house catering needs, our Superstore Café, and our Swinton Café. As the Catering Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of cooks, catering assistants, and volunteers, fostering a culture of high standards, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

You will play a pivotal role in driving, monitoring and reporting on financial performance, with all net 'profits' from our catering services going towards the delivery of our vital services. This role offers the opportunity to bring creativity, passion, and innovation to our food offerings while upholding the values and mission of Rotherham Hospice.
