Woking & Sam Beare Hospice are pleased to

Physiotherapist
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Woking and
Sam Beare Hospice for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly
therapy team, delivering and developing palliative care therapy services for
people facing progressive and life limiting conditions across our catchment
area in North West Surrey.
Main duties of the job
Our therapy team consists of Occupational
therapists, Physiotherapists, and therapy assistants. We work closely with a
team of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Care doctors, our Hospice at
Home team, Counsellors, Complimentary therapists and are involved in supporting
our Wellbeing Unit. The locations we see patients in are varied and this post
involves community as well as inpatient work. The ability to travel in your own
car to visit patients at home is essential.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
physiotherapist who is patient focused and passionate about palliative care.
Ideally you will have some experience in oncology, respiratory or palliative
care or other transferrable skills that can be utilised. Excellent
communication skills and the ability to liaise with patients and staff at all
levels are essential.
In return for your skills, you can expect to join a
caring multidisciplinary team working in a beautiful Hospice in the heart of
North West Surrey. Our vision is to enable all of those with life-limiting
illnesses to live life to the full and to equip them to die with choice and
dignity.
