Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Woking and Sam Beare Hospice for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Team.

Our patients have life limiting conditions and may be with us on our Inpatient Unit for symptom control or terminal end of life care. Palliative care and support is also provided for our patients in the community setting.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be a caring and compassionate Healthcare Assistant who is looking to develop their knowledge and skills within a palliative care setting. Whilst experience of palliative care is desirable it is not essential as we can offer support through our training and development programme. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with patients and staff at all levels are, however, essential.
