A new pharmacy supply and dispensing provision is being created to service wards and community services at RDaSH. This has created the opportunity to build a new team to make it happen. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the ground up: shaping a modern, efficient, and patient-focused pharmacy service that directly supports the care delivered across our hospitals and community teams.
Were creating a dedicated dispensary hub at our Tickhill Road site in Doncaster to improve access to medicines, enhance patient experience, and strengthen resilience across our supply chain. Youll be joining a forward-thinking team that values innovation, professional growth, and collaboration which will enable you to play a key role in improving how patients receive their medication.
Looking ahead, the Trust intends to establish a wholly owned subsidiary by 2027 to take this service to the next level. Initially you will be employed by Flourish Enterprises and will be transferred to the new subsidiary on the same terms & conditions, once the business has been registered. Over time the business may expand into new markets such as community pharmacy and care home services, creating even more opportunities for career development and innovation.

Main duties of the job
As Pharmacy Technician Dispensary Team Manager you will -
- play a central leadership role in the daytoday running of the new pharmacy
dispensary service at RDaSH
- Report to the Superintendent Pharmacist
- be responsible for managing dispensary operations
- efficiently ensure the safe and timely supply of medicines to wards and community teams
- embed high standards of medicines governance and patient safety from the
outset
- lead, support and develop a team of pharmacy
technicians and support staff
- coordinate workloads
- maintain robust
systems
- ensure compliance with legislation and professional standards and
local procedures
