Flourish Enterprises is a Community Interest Company based in Balby,
Doncaster. We work out of a stunning
listed building that provides inviting office space, conference and function
hire, community events and volunteering opportunities, historic walled garden
& shop and cafes all surrounded by lots of beautiful green spaces.
As a social enterprise we focus on providing care and support services
throughout our local communities. We exist exclusively to promote social
mobility, wellbeing, opportunities and work with our partners to deliver a
positive and lasting social impact.
Main duties of the job
We provide work and vocational opportunities to people with mental
health needs, learning disabilities and to those that have suffered any form of
set-back and who need support to get back into education and employment. Our
range of activity includes Woodfield 24, our specialist end-of-life care
service providing community based palliative care support to patients and their
families ensuring that their remaining time can be spent together.
As a not-for-profit organisation we ensure that every penny of surplus
generated from our services is reinvested back into community led activity. We
are fully owned by the RDaSH NHS Trust and together we share the same site at
Woodfield Park, Balby.

Patient
Liaison Officer
£11,750 to £12,947 per annum based on experience. 22.5 hours per week - salary
listed is the part time salary
Administration Assistant £8.91
per hour. 30 37.5 hour contract available. Hours to be agreed.
Catering
Assistant £8.91 per hour.
Range of Bank and Contracted Hour positions available. Hours to be agreed.
Bakery and Online Shop Co-ordinator £9.75

Job responsibilities
The post-holder will work as part of the catering team in Caf Flourish
in the provision and delivery of catering services in the Caf, Bakery and the
Function Catering associated with Flourish Enterprises.
A range of other duties are
covered from preparing food through to the delivery to point of use, serving
customers as required, placing orders, cleaning and managing stock levels in
line with legislative and local policy and procedures. Our staff need to have a
can-do attitude and provide a warm welcome to everyone that uses our services.
The post-holder will be encouraged
to contribute towards the development of seasonal produce and new product ranges
for the caf and online shop.
The role will also include supporting
team members on the Vocational Program within Flourish. This is a critical
element of the role and key to the core purpose of the organisation and
therefore a calm, patient, inclusive and supportive approach is required from
everyone at Flourish Enterprises.

a newly refurbished retail catering outlet serving hot and cold beverages and
light meals. Caf Flourish is open to
the general public and tenants of the Woodfield Park Estate. Function catering to St. Catherines House is
provided by the Caf for conferences, meetings and events as requested.

- A Hospitality and Catering qualification and/or Intermediate food hygiene certificate would be desirable but is not essential;
Experience

- Experience within a Catering setting including providing excellent customer care;
- Ability to understand and adhere to standards and procedures and excellent hygiene standards;
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team member;
- A Hospitality and Catering qualification and/or Intermediate food hygiene certificate would be desirable but is not essential;
- A basic understanding of the importance of handling cleaning chemicals;
- Good communication skills and ability to deliver excellent customer service;
- Ability to coordinate, work with and share knowledge with our Service users and volunteers on a day-to-day basis;

- Provide a customer focussed and welcoming service to both customers into the Caf and guests of St. Catherines House as part of the function catering;
- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance and wear protective clothing provided in accordance with departmental uniform standards;
- Operate a cash register and adhere to Flourish policy on cash handling;
- Advise and support the supervisor of stock levels to ensure a seamless service provision, and in the absence of the supervisor place orders and ensure required legislative documentation is completed;
- Participate in the efficient and effective adherence to departmental cleaning schedules and effective disposal of waste;
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures relating to services e.g., Food hygiene, Health & Safety, COSHH regulations, Infection Control, Waste Disposal, and HACCP;
- Maintain records as determined by the Operations manager in compliance with audit requirements, reporting any defects within the Caf to the estates department;
- Participate and actively contribute to team meetings;
- Proactively participate in marketing our services and promotional offers;
- Carry out safe operating of machinery and equipment;
