Location: Far Gosford Street, Coventry. (Will also work from other CW Mind buildings when required)

About The Role:
To provide Administrative support to the Community Autism Support Service (CASS) and reception support to the Children and Young Peoples Services.
Key Responsibilities include:
- To act as the first point of contact, processing enquiries regarding the Community Autism Support Service, and to deal with them professionally and effectively at all times in order to maintain positive working relationships.
- Answering and making telephone calls to professionals, parents/carers, and service-users.
- Involvement in service-related correspondence.
- Being the central point for all new referrals or enquiries and entering them on to clinical systems.
- Documenting and recording events and information on appropriate systems.
- Ensuring that all relevant, accurate and up to date client information and records are entered onto appropriate databases and recording systems.
- Working with Team Leaders to ensure the timely collection of monitoring data and producing statistical data as required.
- Providing administrative support including, receiving, sorting and distributing mail via the post and via email, typing of documents e.g. appointment and outcome letters and photocopying/scanning.
- Taking messages and ensuring these reach the appropriate member of staff using agreed procedures.
- Ordering stationary, resources and materials that assist in service delivery.
- Maintaining files as appropriate to meet GDPR and audit requirements.
- Creating an environment where everyone feels respected, valued and treated with dignity.
Essential criteria includes:
- Proven track record of working in administration.
- Experience of using databases.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent team working skills and ability to work well as part of a diverse and dispersed team.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Autism understanding through learning, research or experience is desirable.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and other appropriate computer programmes.
- Commitment to valuing fair access and diversity.
- The post holder will be required to spend time sitting at a desk at our Coventry Office. There may be a requirement to travel to other CW Mind buildings.
