You will have the
opportunity to work as part of the NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and
Depression (The Big Life Group) team within Manchester.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours a week in line with
service requirements and agile working arrangements.
This
role can be based anywhere across the UK, however travel will be required to
our offices in Manchester, Rochdale, Stockport or Eastern Cheshire as well as
travel to a university establishment.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
are to attend, engage with and complete a 12-month course of study via
Manchester University, Liverpool John Moores or the University of Central
Lancashire, alongside practice-based learning.
You will be
required to -

Manage a caseload of clients.

Deliver a range of evidence based one-to-one, group
and online interventions.

Complete assessments.

Support events within the community.
- Promote the service, and where necessary to
generate referrals.
This post is exempt from

- Experience in one or more of the following fields: mental health, family support, physical health, smoking cessation, diet and exercise, employment, social inclusion or debt management

- We can offer 3 routes to completing the trainee PWP course. The university & service you are offered may be dependent on the route you are eligible to apply for.
- We can offer the level 7 pathway which is for those who hold a degree (2:2 or above).
- We offer the level 6 pathway for those who hold relevant level 5 qualifications and have 2 years relevant experience in a mental health setting.
- Finally, we are able to offer the apprenticeship pathway for those who do not hold a degree or level 5 qualification however do hold a Maths & English GCSE (C or above) and have 2 years relevant experience in a mental health setting.
