We
are looking for multiple Clinical Locality Managers to join the NHS Manchester
Talking Therapies Step 2 team within The Big Life group. You will be
responsible for the performance, development and wellbeing of a team of PWPs as
well as carrying your own caseload, delivering a range of NICE approved low
intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders.
The
successful candidate will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy,
highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload
and will have successfully completed an approved Talking Therapies (formerly
IAPT) PWP Post Graduate Certificate. Willingness to complete the PWP supervisor
course is essential.
Main duties of the job
To work with the service
manager to support team members to deliver the service to a high standard.
To supervise staff where
necessary, ensuring staff are supported and confident in their roles. This will
include facilitating line management.
To support the service manager
to deliver the service by facilitating the development of the team.
Applicants will need to hold a Psychological Wellbeing
Practitioner qualification and have professional registration.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 37.5 in line with service
requirements and agile working arrangements. We will consider applications from

Location: The
role includes a mixture of office and home working. You will also attend face
to face meetings when needed and represent our service at community events. Our
office base is Oakland House, Old Trafford.
