Job summary
As a Deputy Service Manager within our NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Talking Therapies team, you will play a key role in supporting and developing our team of mental health practitioners to deliver a first-class service.
The successful candidate will be skilled in managing a diverse workforce, highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload. The role is varied and creative, with the opportunity to feed into service change, make a real difference in local communities and lead on exciting new projects.
Main duties of the job
What we need from you
- Support the service manager in guiding team members to deliver high-standard services, including staff supervision and line management.
- Facilitate the development of the team to ensure effective and quality service delivery in line with group values and organisational standards.
- Oversee the operational and day-to-day activities of the service, providing operational management and leadership.
- Ensure the effective delivery of all services, meeting commissioned and agreed key performance indicators and adhering to relevant statutory and legal requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the service and the broader organisation as needed.
