Job summary

We are looking for outstanding full and part time Trainers and Educators to deliver and assess a range of training including accredited First Aid and Pre-hospital Care qualifications across the county and wider region. You will need to be flexible to align with both LIVES and learner requirements. We are a Qualsafe, MHFA and ATACC Training centre with many exciting developments coming soon.

About LIVES

We are a charity and our reach and impact has grown significantly over the last few years as we've developed new models and services for supporting the communities of our county. We've got an army of volunteers, both laypeople and healthcare professionals, and a small employed team of both administrative and clinical staff. Were based in Horncastle but we operate right across the county of Lincolnshire, including the North and North East.

Main duties of the job

You will:

  • Be approachable, understanding and engaging with learners
  • Hold an AET or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Hold the highest standards with regard to teaching and assessment
  • Have integrity - doing the right thing even when its the hardest thing to do
  • Be a team player
  • Be confident in using Microsoft 365 products and intergating technology into your teaching

You may:

  • Have experience or qualifications relating to Internal Quality Assurance
  • Hold a CAVA qualification or equivalent assessing qualification.
  • Have experience of writing course content
  • Working in heavy industry or the emergency services

Location: Primarily Lincolnshire, with out of county travel

Working pattern: Flexible over a 7 day period.

LIVES are looking for experience trainers to join our team delivering training to our army of volunteers and customers in and around Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us, instilling confidence to your candidates to provide immediate care for patients and colleagues. Through the delivery of training in the workplace, to young people, and the wider community we can build community resilience that will help save lives in Lincolnshire. LIVES are passionate about being their in a patients hour of need and our Education Team plays a vital role in assisting our volunteers to save lives.

Resuscitation Council UK

Moving and Handling of People

Mental Health First Aid

Work Place Mentoring
