Job Title: Information Analyst

Pay Band: Band 5 £27,055 - £32,934

Hours: 37.5 hours a week (Negotiable)

Location/Base: This role may require travel around the GM geography and as such the base will be flexible

Directorate/Dept.: GM Training Hub

Reporting to: Service Manager

Main duties of the job

  • Monitor data quality and review current monitoring systems to ensure that data is available within the agreed timescales and is accurate and reliable; follow up with external stakeholders where necessary

  • To liaise with internal and external stakeholders to help enhance Student Placement procedures and processes for all concerned parties and find a greater state of efficiency
  • Highlight variations in quality, completeness and/or interpretation of data/management information to the Management Team as appropriate
  • Ability to problem solve and work proactively, be able to plan and organise meetings and scheduling
  • Directly liaise with staff at all levels of the organisation, including administrative and clinical staff, and managers within the Training Hub regarding operational and end user requirements.
  • Develop an expert knowledge of source information, including the systems on which they are stored and interpretation
  • Liaise with Clinical Educator Specialists regarding the monitoring of Student Placements across GM.
  • Be the point of contact regarding placements for GMTH colleagues, students and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
  • Provide support to Programme Support officers in relation to Student Placements, Clinical Learning Environments and other GMTH workstreams
  • To lead on the Student Data Collection Tool and liaise with HEE and HEI representatives to find agreeable solutions.
