Main duties of the job

Have you ever considered working in childrens palliative care? We understand that some people may be nervous about what to expect but wed love to show you what a fantastic and happy place it is to work.

Julias House focuses on bringing smiles to children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. No two days are the same, one day you could be making mud pies and the next joining our music festival.

Come and find out for yourself by attending our Hospice Opening Morning. Our team will be on hand to provide a tour of the hospice and talk more about roles with us. There might even be some cake too!

About us

You can make a difference every day at Julias House, keeping us caring for some of the most seriously ill children and their families across Dorset and Wiltshire.

Join our family and be part of our passionate, dedicated and friendly team with the freedom and opportunity to learn and grow your career.

Whether youre a nurse, a carer, a committed fundraiser or looking to share your professional skills in a trustee role, youll be helping us to provide a lifeline of support to families caring for life-limited children.

Julias House has been named as the UKs Best Charity to Work For in the prestigious Best Companies Awards 2023 and our service is rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as 'Outstanding'.
