About the Role:
This is a pivotal leadership role within EACHs Care Directorate. You will lead the design and delivery of transformation projects that enhance care services, improve access, and ensure our support reaches every family who needs it. Working closely with senior leaders, families, and partners, you'll drive innovation, manage change, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives aligned with EACHs mission and values.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new care services and business cases.
- Champion co-production with families and communities to shape service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and equity.
- Support regulatory compliance and performance assurance across care projects.
- Act as EACHs lead for service development, transformation, and EDI strategy.
Do you have:
- Proven experience in healthcare transformation, clinical operations, or service development.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Knowledge of change management, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medicine); a Masters is desirable.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice.
- A current full, valid driving license and own transport with ability to travel across East Anglia region as required.

This a key leadership role responsible for driving and overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives that improve Care services and processes, ensuring that EACH services reach all families and communities who need our support. This role blends operational management with change management skills to ensure smooth transitions when adopting new technologies, systems, or practice.
As a member of the senior Care leadership team, the role will support the Directorate to lead the transformation and implementation of care new business opportunities and internal business cases, building and forming new partnerships, improving current service provision and developing innovative approaches to service delivery.
The role will oversee care development projects enabling delivery of our organisational strategy. Working closely with the care team, and in co-production with stakeholders, including families, ensuring EACH evolves innovative and outstanding services and managing staff as appropriate to project development.

Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the hospices strategic transformation agenda aligned with its mission and values.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in care delivery, technology use, partnership working, and workforce planning.
- Support the Care Directorate leadership team and clinical leads to prepare budgets, business plans and workforce plans that align with transformation and development plans.
- Use data, feedback, and benchmarking to monitor the impact and effectiveness of initiatives.
- Support regulatory and quality assurance compliance in all service changes.
- Prepare and present relevant proposals and papers to the Board of Trustees, Directorate leadership team, Clinical Governance Committee, Management Executive and other committees, meetings and events as required and chair care strategic development meetings.
- Collaborate with the development of business cases for new services and expansion of existing services in line with agreed strategic priorities and objectives.
- Project manage the introduction of new services and service development initiatives as agreed with the Director of Care.
- Develop project management tools and reporting to ensure the co-ordination of all key Care projects and oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for transformation initiatives, ensuring that goals are met on time and within scope.
