Job summary
We have a great opportunity within our IPU team for a Clinical Support Nurse. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Health Care Assistants and Clinical Support Nurses who are looking to develop skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care.
Salary £24,465 per annum WTE
Pay Award Pending
(plus unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)
23 hours - 37.5 hours per week - Flexible Dependent upon Applicants
The role covers a 24 hour, 7 day service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty.
Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support and assist the qualified nursing staff in providing hands-on, person-centered heath care to patients with complex clinical needs.This includes working in a similar capacity as a Health Care Assistant. As well as clerical and administrative duties, other duties include cleaning and ancillary responsibilities.Our health care staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.

excellent communication and team-working skills. Experience of working in a care setting is
