Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nursing Associate to join our supportive, professional team within the Inpatient Unit at Bolton Hospice. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care. Team Bolton Hospice is friendly, motivated and committed to providing high quality, expert specialist palliative and end of life care to the people of Bolton.

£26,530 - £29,114 WTE per annum, pro rata for part time

Pay Award pending

(Dependent upon experience, unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)

23 hours - 37.5 hours per week - Flexible Dependent upon Applicants

The role covers a 24 hour, 7 day service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty.

Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care. Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.

You must be a Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register with a Foundation Degree. We are looking for someone compassionate and caring, who has a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care.
