Job summary

The Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in the healthcare team, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients.

This is a position to work on a Saturday only, within the Enhanced Access clinic.

There is the possibility for additional hours to be offered within Enhanced Access Monday - Friday between the hours of 6.30pm - 8pm.

Due to the needs of our patients, this is expected to predominately be a home working position, but may require in-person clinics.

This position will be integral to optimising patient care and medication management.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing medication orders, providing drug information, and monitoring patient outcomes to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

  • Ability to analyse clinical data and make informed decisions regarding pharmacotherapy.

This role is essential for ensuring that patients receive optimal pharmaceutical care tailored to their individual needs, thereby enhancing overall health outcomes within the healthcare system.

Due to the nature of this role, we do require the applicant to have completed their CPPE and their Independent Prescribing Qualification.
