The Barn Boutique is no ordinary charity shop! The shop, which is located onsite, specialises in high quality pre-loved clothing and furniture.
Main duties of the job
As Shop Manager you will be responsible for directly managing a team of volunteers to maximise profit and deliver set targets and KPIs, ensuring impeccable standards are set and maintained in your shop. You will combine commercial acumen with creativity, leading your team to deliver the highest standards of customer service and presentation in order to maximise income.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a successful and unique shop, working alongside our Marketing and Fundraising teams to promote the shop within the community and build an exceptional team that are committed to raising funds for Saint Catherine’s Hospice.

Our Executive Team, led by the CEO who joined Saint Catherine’s Hospice in March 2023, have spent a considerable amount of time looking at how we as a Hospice are fit for the future. Our main commitment is and always will be, providing the best possible care and quality of life for those with life limiting illnesses. We are starting the year with a new approach in how we are achieving our goals and ultimately enhancing the services we provide. Therefore, in the run up to our 40th year we are excited to be advertising a number of roles to join our growing team.

- have experience of successfully working towards sales targets.
