Job summary
This is an exciting role working alongside our therapy team, assisting qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the delivery of interventions to restore/improve function, well-being and quality of life for patients on the in-patient unit and in the community.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will take on protocol-based work, assisting with assessment and treatment of patients, making changes to own work within agreed scope of practice, enabling patients to remain in their preferred place of care and achieve their agreed therapy goals.
This role is based over 5 days but could be developed to provide 7 day working opportunities.

- - Minimum of 3 GCSE passes (grade 4/C or above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- - NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care / another health-related subject, as well as knowledge skills development, group working for client group (to diploma equivalent level) or willingness to work towards this.
- - Care certificate or willingness to work towards this.
