Salary Level: £21,000 Full-Time Equivalent
(Note: BCA is not an Agenda for Change employer, but does
offer the NHS Pension)
Working arrangements:
This is a flexible
hours post requiring a combination of home working, in-office working, and
occasional operational site visits. On occasion, the post holder will be
required to work early evenings however this will be primarily on a home-working
basis.
Main duties of the job
Role Overview:
It is the role of the administrator
to work with the Operational Manager to ensure that BCA service provision is of
high quality and delivers against our service targets. This work will initially
involve working alongside the operational delivery team to learn and develop
before taking on increasing responsibilities which will include data system
analysis, ensuring contract expectations are being met, making adjustments to
services as required and being an integral part of the BCA operational team.
The role provides a significant
point of contact for BCA service providers and requires the postholder to work
collaboratively, whilst promoting BCA in a positive manner to partner
organisations and patients. The post holder will need to be well organised, with exceptional attention
to detail, and possess good numerical and verbal/written communication skills.

Introduction:
The Bradford Care Alliance (BCA)
is a Community Interest (CIC) general practice membership organisation founded
on partnership working and accountability to our members. The CIC encompasses
most practices across Bradford City and Districts CCG, 50 in total, to
represent a consistent voice for primary care. The Board is composed of 5
elected and co-opted Directors, with a mix of clinicians and practice/business
managers, supported by an operational team.
Context of the Role:
This is an entry-level post where
the post holder will be supported and developed to take on increasing responsibility
for supporting the BCA operational delivery and contracting function. The post
will be focused on providing service delivery support, contracting support and
performance management to BCAs service provision. The post will be by the BCA
service development and operational team. The team structure is to operate in a
matrix fashion to ensure cover and support across each of the roles.

and compliance by ensuring early identification of issues and initiating timely
intervention to ensure service plans and targets are delivered
Supporting monthly reviews of
performance targets and expectations are undertaken and documented through data
production and analysis.
Visiting delivery sites as required
and assessing operational compliance in line with BCA policies and
requirements.
Working flexibly in a busy environment,
proactively managing relationships with members, providers, and the BCA team as
required.
Work within a matrix management
structure within the BCA team to ensure Board requirements and service
development initiatives can function effectively

of meetings, papers, notes and agendas.
Attendance at different system
meetings as required.
Develop and maintain effective
team working and relationships with colleagues and other teams.
Undertake any other relevant
activities which fall under the general scope of this role as directed.
