Job summary
This
in an entry level post where the post holder will be supported and developed to
take on increasing responsibility for supporting the BCA operational delivery
and contracting function. The post will be focused on providing service
delivery support, contracting support and performance management to BCAs service
provision. The post will be supported by the Operational Delivery and
Performance Manager and assisted in their duties by the BCA service development
and operational team.
Main duties of the job
• To support the operational delivery,
contract and performance portfolio for all BCA service provider provision.
• Supporting contractual
expectations and compliance by ensuring early identification of issues and
initiating timely, effective intervention to ensure that contractual plans and
targets are delivered, and risk assessments undertaken.
• Contributing to the effective
monthly reviews of contractual performance targets and expectations are
undertaken and documented through data production and analysis.
• Visiting delivery sites as required
and assessing operational compliance in line with BCA policies and
requirements.
• Operate effectively in a
flexible and demanding environment and proactively manage relationships with
members, providers, and the BCA team as required.
• Work within a matrix management
structure within the BCA team to ensure Board requirements and service
development initiatives can be operationalised and managed effectively.

The Bradford Care Alliance (BCA)
is a Community Interest (CIC) general practice membership organisation founded
on partnership working and accountable to our members. The CIC encompasses most
practices across Bradford City and Districts CCG, 50 in total, to represent a
consistent voice for primary care. The Board is composed of 5 elected and co-opted
Directors, with a mix of clinicians and practice/business managers, supported
by an operational team.
We are a key partner in the wider
Bradford District and Craven system. We work closely with our health and social
care partners through the Health and Wellbeing Board, Bradford Health and Care
Partnership Board and Bradford Provider Alliance. Through this involvement we
aim to support system integration and delivery of the vision of ‘Happy, Healthy

to work early evenings however this will be primarily on a home working

- Excellent written and communication skills, requiring diplomacy and maturity.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage time effectively are essential.
- Ability to utilise excel and word, and ability to learn new systems.
- Must be able to work alone if required, using own initiative in a pro-active manner, as well as being an effective team player.
- Reliable and consistent with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, with a positive and friendly attitude
- SystmOne experience is desirable but not essential and will be a key part of the role. Training and support will be provided if needed
