Acorns Children's Hospice are looking for an Administrator to provide administrative support to our hospice care teams in Walsall
About the Role
At Acorns Childrens Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their childs life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.
As a Care Administrator, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the hospice care teams including typing, answering phones, managing email inboxes and greeting visitors
- Organise meetings including booking rooms, preparing agendas and minute taking
- Maintain statutory records and systems
- Maintain and develop databases
About You
- Experience of working in an admin environment
- Relevant secretarial/administrative qualification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Innovative and forward thinking
What We Offer
- £16,380 to £16,766 for part time hours (£24,570 to £25,150 for full time)
- 25 hours per week (over 3 days)

You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and therefore any successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and will be asked to provide two satisfactory references.
