Are you a compassionate and forward-thinking leader ready to make a real difference in palliative care? St Lukes Hospice is seeking a Lead for Inpatient Centreto bring their clinical expertise, management skills, and inspiring leadership to our dedicated team.
Main duties of the job
This is a pivotal role where youll lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and champion innovation in our In-Patient Centre (IPC). Youll have the opportunity to influence strategy, develop clinical practices, and drive service excellence, all while promoting a supportive and inclusive culture.

- Current registration with NMC or other professional body
- Training to a minimum degree level

- Evidence of post qualification study/professional development
- Leadership or Management qualification

- Rich and varied experience at a senior management level within a clinical team
- Experience of contributing to mentoring, training and education (including performance review) of professional staff
- Experience of recruitment, selection, and interviewing
- Experience of effective line management and supervision of teams
- Experience of managing staffing to ensure appropriate workloads, skills mix and rotas
- Experience of providing high quality patient care, and of encouraging others to do the same
- Experience of effectively and successfully managing resources (financial, physical and human)
- Evidence of working with a range of professionals across boundaries
- Evidence of implementing and using clinical governance systems
- Experience of managing change
