Halton Haven Hospice has opportunities for Senior Nurses who wish to diversify their career into palliative care. Whether you are an experienced Nurse or recently qualified, we would like to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Job holders will provide high quality person-centered nursing care in a hospice setting for over 18's. Duties will include administering medication and treatments, providing a plan of care to support the patient with symptom management or end of life care. The role will involve ensuring patients are supported to maintain privacy and dignity within their individual medical, spiritual and emotional needs, whilst also providing excellent end of life care and acting as a patient advocate where necessary. Support clinical team members by working collaboratively to deliver high quality, palliative end of life care.
