Were seeking a dedicated Senior Team HCA to join our Community Services team in the Richmond and Hambleton area, where your leadership, empathy, and commitment can make a real difference. Main duties of the job

Our Community Service team supports patients and their families at home, delivering holistic care that meets physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. As a Senior Team HCA, you will play a vital leadership role coordinating care, managing team members, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring consistently high standards of practice.

Youll also be part of our wider clinical leadership team, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to cultivate a warm, responsive, and compassionate care environment.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead and coordinate care delivery in the community, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate clinical practice.
  • Line manage, mentor, support, and supervise HCAs and nursing staff fostering a positive team culture focused on learning and development.
  • Develop and implement training and competency frameworks for the care team.
  • Support the integration and delivery of complex and specialist palliative care.
  • Oversee assessments, care planning, and implementation of individualised care in collaboration with patients, families, and the wider team.
  • Manage complex symptoms and end-of-life care with clinical skill and emotional sensitivity.
  • Contribute to continuous service development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a role model in delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
