We are currently looking for experienced doctors to join Herriot Hospice at The Lambert to participate in the hospice doctor first on call rota and provide specialist support to patients, families and carers mainly on the 6-bed inpatient unit.
We are a hardworking, passionate and progressive team whose values are shared across the organisation.
With at least two years post registration experience, candidates will need an interest in palliative care, ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and a commitment to clinical governance. Strong organisational, report writing and assessment skills, along with an understanding of collective responsibility are essential in this role, supported by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main duties of the job
Our Hospice Doctors provide effective, high quality medical care and advice for patients of The Lambert and the surrounding community. The post holder will work closely with other members of the consultantled medical team, and wider multi-disciplinary team, which includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, pre bereavement workers and wellbeing support team.
