Job summary
LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across
Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and
support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers.
We're looking to recruit two trustees to join our Board of Trustees.
Main duties of the job
Main trustee responsibilities include: Support and advise on the development of LOROS purpose, vision, goals and activities. Approve operational strategies and policies and monitor and evaluate their implementation. Oversee financial plans and budgets and monitor and evaluate progress.
We particularly welcome applications from individuals with significant experience in either
charity fundraising/income generation or law.
The roles are voluntary and unremunerated.
