Nurse Associate Salary £22,549 to £24,882
per annum (pro-rata for part time hours)Full time/Part-time hours (Minimum hours considered 22.5 hours per week) worked
over a varied shift patternearly/late/night shift or 12 hour shift
patterns including weekends and Bank Holidays
Current NHS pension members can continue in the scheme under LOROS’ direction body status and NHS service will be taken into consideration in relation to annual leave entitlement
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will be required to demonstrate an understanding of caring for patients with life limiting illnesses requiring specialist palliative care. You should have excellent communication skills and be motivated and passionate about working in a palliative care setting. You must have already completed your preceptorship if you are newly qualified.
You should also be able to demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development and we will continue to provide support and excellent training and development opportunities.

LOROS has a 31 bedded Inpatient ward and we are
currently recruiting Registered Nurses / Nursing Associates to join our special
team. Working as part of a skilled

- To support the registered nurse in

recognising when it is necessary to refer on for reassessments.
- To promote health and prevent ill
health in patients and service users and contribute to integrated care.
- To monitor the condition and
health needs of patients on a continual basis in partnership with
colleagues, families and carers, referring to others for reassessment,
when required.

actively contribute to an effective learning environment and support others
