We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Main duties of the job

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their health needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Provide advanced clinical care, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Perform physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.

    • HCPC registered Paramedic.
    • Experience working in urgent care, primary care, or a community setting.
    • Strong clinical decision-making and autonomous working skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of a general practice environment.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

    Desirable

    • Paramedic Practitioner qualification (e.g., MSc or postgraduate course).
    • Prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake).
    • Experience with EMIS Web or similar clinical systems.
    • Knowledge of QOF and IIF frameworks.
    • Previous experience in a GP surgery or PCN setting.
