Job summary

Chapel Street Surgery is looking for a salaried GP Doctor to join our growing team.

Chapel Street Surgery is a small and friendly patient centered practice serving the local people of Pelsall. Our practice list is currently around 2500 and growing.

Our clinical team currently consists of a GP, ANP, Practice Nurse, and HCA, ARRS staff including a Paramedic and Nurse Associate. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic GP with educational interests to join our supportive team. The post-holder must be within 2 years of completing their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

6 weeks annual leave pro rata and 1 weeks study leave

Weekly catch up meeting

Experience of joint injections and an interest in Medical Education

is desirable

CQC rating Good for all areas

Commendation for excellent achievement in the GP Patient Survey 2024

Very low number of home visits

Low staff turnover

Document workflow overseen by administrative team

About us

The practice has a very experienced, stable team, a single handed GP, a part-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner and part-time Practice Nurse, a full-time Health Care Assistant, a Practice Manager and Medical Secretary and a team of receptionists/administrators. We are also supported by various ARRS staff provided by the PCN to which we belong.

The practice is rated as 'good' by the CQC, is a high 'QOF' achiever and has recently received recognition from NHS England for the excellent patient feedback received in the 2024 national patient survey.

The practice prides itself on providing a 'family feel' both in the way patients and staff are treated. We are keen to employ a Practice Manager that will understand and contribute to this ethos.
