We are looking to recruit a part time receptionist to undertake general reception duties associated with a GP Surgery
Main duties of the job
The main duties are answering the telephone, booking appointments or signposting patients to the appropriate Healthcare Professionals Other administrative duties are included in the role such as arranging transport, booking interpreters, processing incoming/outgoing mail and liaising with the relevant teams both inside and outside of the practice

Halbutt Street Surgery has a registered population of approximately 6000 patients and is situated off the Heathway. We are a friendly and supportive practice team working together with our Primary Care Network to ensure a high level of patient care. Our practice clinical team comprises of 2 GP Partners 1 Salaried GP 2 Associated GP's and 1 Practice Nurse

- Requests for appointments and marking in patients arrival for appointments.
- Requests for certificates and repeat prescriptions.
- Applications to register with the Practice.
- The control of confidential material ie: hospital letters, referrals.
- Dealing with additional enquiries if necessary.
- Supporting the clinical teams ie: Doctors and Practice Nurses/HCA.
- Using the computer for reception activities a) Patient registrations/changes.
b) Prescriptions
c) Data Input
- Delivery of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) & Enhanced Services.
- Filing correspondence and documentation.
