Job summary
GP at Hand is a large NHS general practice. The practice has a team of around 75 GPs, the majority working less than full time, who provide digital and face to face (F2F) appointments for patients.
The post holder will be responsible for the line management, training, support and quality assurance of all salaried GPs conducting digital and F2F consultations for GP at Hand. This will involve audit activity, quality improvement, supporting HR processes, completing regular reviews with individual GPs, and supporting training and compliance as well as providing ad hoc support to the team. The post-holder will also be involved in service delivery and development and work closely with other senior stakeholders within the organisation.
This is a fast paced and KPI driven role - with clear success metrics - the role requires a person who is keen to succeed, able to work to strict timeframes and who rolls their sleeves up if required. The role will change on a daily and weekly basis, and the post-holder will be expected to adapt and develop the role accordingly.
GP at Hand is a 24/7 service, so there may be a requirement to take part in out of hours duty rota cover on occasion.
