Are you a passionate Practice Nurse looking for a rewarding
role in a supportive primary care environment? Do you enjoy building

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate nurse to
join our team, providing a wide range of nursing services to our practice
population. You will work both independently and collaboratively with GPs and
the wider clinical team, helping patients stay healthy and well.
The role is currently to cover maternity leave, however they may be the opportunity to make a permanent role.
Main duties of the job
Immunisations (including Baby Immunisations)
Cervical screening (smears)
Contraception advice and pill checks
Spirometry testing
Diabetes management (Warwick Diploma or similar desirable)
Treatment room duties
Chronic disease management with a particular focus on
respiratory care
Working within established practice protocols and clinical guidelines
We especially welcome applicants with respiratory experience
or a qualification in Asthma/COPD management, though training can be supported
for the right candidate.

What Youll Be Doing:
As part of our nursing team, you will deliver a variety of
essential clinical services, including:

Your Role in Patient Care
In this role, you will:
Provide direct nursing care to patients within your
professional competence, without the need for referral from another senior
nurse or doctor.
Carry out health assessments and screening in line with agreed protocols.
Offer advice and support on general health and minor ailments, referring to
GPs where appropriate.
Deliver nursing treatments independently or alongside GPs.
Maintain accurate and efficient clinical records to support patient safety
and continuity of care.
Contribute to the development of practice procedures and service
improvements.
Training & Development

Additional training will be provided for new
responsibilities.
Opportunities to develop respiratory expertise or further chronic disease
specialisms.
Work within the professional standards of the NMC Code of Conduct.
