We are looking to recruit an Experienced Practice Lead Nurse
due to retirement. The post is available for 3 days per week however we can
provide a level of flexibility depending on the candidates requirements. We offer a competitive salary depending
on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.

Main duties of the job
KeyResponsibilities
To work collaboratively with the primary care team to meet the needs of patients.
To lead nursing and health care team
To overview and supervise the nursing team, including audits, rota, practice policies, infection control, and overall performance
- To deliver individual treatment plans for patients within clinical competency.
- To deliver general nursing services such as Wound Care, Cervical Cytology, Health Screening, Vaccination and Immunisation Programme, Diabetes Management, Travel Vaccinations, Chronic Disease Review, Dementia Management, Cancer review, Asthma Management.
- To participate in regular practice meetings with the multi-disciplinary team.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Shared management of nursing team
- Support the practice to achieve its requirements within the GMS contract, QOF framework, enhanced services and other policies and protocols.
To provide nurse mentorship as required.
