Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Physician
Associate (PA) to join our forward-thinking and supportive practice team. The
successful candidate will be a confident clinician who can contribute to the
delivery of excellent primary care while working closely with GPs and the wider
multidisciplinary team. You will act within your professional boundaries to
deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across a range of
clinical areas.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
Manage a defined caseload of patients presenting with acute
and chronic illnesses, providing care in accordance with best practice and
national guidelines.
Perform clinical assessments, formulate diagnoses, and
develop patient management plans under the supervision of a named GP.
Deliver care through face-to-face consultations. Telephone
consultations can be considered according to the candidate clinical experience.
Document consultations, findings, and treatment plans
accurately in the SystmOne clinical system.
Liaise with other members of the clinical team to ensure
continuity and coordination of care.
Participate in weekly clinical meetings and contribute to
case discussions and shared learning.
Support health promotion initiatives and contribute to
patient education. Work under the supervision of a designated GP, with
structured support for clinical decision-making.
Engage in regular clinical debriefs and protected learning
time.
Participate in continuous professional development and
quality improvement activities.
About us
We are based in Hounslow, in a purpose built medical centre.
Our clinical team currently includes GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Nurse
Associate, Health Care Assistants, Physician Associates, First Contact
Physiotherapist. There is a strong team atmosphere and a focus on continuous
development throughout the surgery.
