We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our surgery.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, wiped down, and sanitised regularly.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Vacuum, mop, and scrub floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- at least 1 year previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting or moving equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
