We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our surgery.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
  • Ensure all surfaces are dusted, wiped down, and sanitised regularly.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Vacuum, mop, and scrub floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • at least 1 year previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting or moving equipment.
