Job summary

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the Multi-disciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, the processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner, liaising with team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers and in accordance with current policies

The post-holder will be responsible for the administration of the Practice, assisting and supporting the Practice Management Team.

Support the delivery of quality standards within the Practice including data quality.

Full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

Maintain effective security of data at all times.

Support the team in the effective use of searches and audits.

Process online applications as required.

Act as a liaison between the Practice and manage all fault reporting.

Provide guidance in trouble shooting when requested.

Configure searches and interpret data for audit purposes.

Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary.

Manage administrative queries as necessary,

Support clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested.

To be conversant and comply with the terms, policies and procedures included in the staff handbook.

Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times.

We are a friendly and motivated team looking for a Salaried GP to join our expanding team. We are an established GMS practice with a list size of 7700 patients. We have a strong reputation for providing excellent patient care in a friendly and supportive environment. We are keen to attract the right candidate to work with us in our practice to deliver outstanding care for our patients. Our team is currently made up of 3 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, 2 Practice Managers, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 Healthcare Assistant, 2 Care Coordinators and a Safeguarding Care Coordinator with strong support from a motivated clerical team.
