Clinical Administrator/Patient Care Coordinator

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic patient care coordinator to join our small friendly team at Molebridge Practice.

This valued and varied administrative role will support the clinical, management and reception teams to provide safe and effective care for our patients.

Previous experience of similar work would be an advantage but full training can be given.

This will be a hybrid role with some opportunity for remote working once established in the post.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage patient registrations and deductions on clinical and workforce systems (EMIS).
  • Prepare, review, and submit PPA claims in accordance with NHS regulations and deadlines.
  • Draft, format, and distribute medical reports and non-NHS letters.
  • Provide support to process urgent TWR letters and other referrals when needed.
  • Support efficient document processing and workflow.
  • Coordinate proxy access services for patients, including setting up authorised representatives in clinical systems.
  • Ensure all data entry and communication is accurate and complies with GDPR and NHS information governancestandards.
  • Maintain audit trails for work undertaken and assist in compliance checks.
  • Carry out other general administrative tasks including call handling, scanning, filing, and appointment coordination when needed.

Molebridge practice is a relatively small practice of around 6000 patients across 2 sites. We are a close-knit and supportive team and are looking to recruit like-minded, caring individuals who have an interest in supporting their local population.
