A good working knowledge of IT and proficient keyboard skills are important. Training will be given on the use of our clinical system.

Main duties of the job
In this essential role, you will ensure patient
records are accurately scanned, coded, and maintained within our clinical
system (SystmOne), supporting the smooth running of the practice and the
delivery of outstanding patient care. This role is ideal for someone with
strong organisational skills, a methodical approach, and a commitment to
maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.

- 5 GP Partners
- 2 Salaried GP's
- 3 Nurse Practitioners
- 1 Pharmacist and 1 Pharmacist Technician

- Practice Manager and Reception Supervisor
- Medical Receptionists and Secretary's
We have around 12,000 patients and are a training practice and so support trainee doctors and medical students on a regular basis.

Job responsibilities
- Document Processing and Scanning
- Scan and upload patient-related documents into the clinical system (SystmOne).
- Ensure all correspondence (paper and electronic) is accurately inserted into patient records.
- Workflow correspondence to the appropriate team member
- Clinical Coding and Data Entry
- Accurately code clinical data using SNOMED codes, adhering to practice guidelines.
- Enter data into patient records in accordance with QOF and CQC standards.
- Identify and flag discrepancies or missing information.
- Correspondence and Record Management
- File and add relevant data from third-party correspondence into patient records.
- Monitor and action data related tasks within the clinical system.
- Team Support and Cover
- Provide cover for team members during absences, including reception duties.
- Work closely with administration and clinical teams to ensure efficient processing of correspondence.
- Confidentiality and Compliance
- Handle all information in line with GDPR and practice policies.
- Maintain awareness of QOF targets and enhanced services, ensuring data is recorded correctly.
- General Administrative Support
- Assist with patient registration queries, e-consultations, online services requests, summarising new patient records, reception duties, etc.
- Participate in ongoing training and support the wider Patient Services Team.
