Job summary
Riverside Medical Practice are
looking to employ a Salaried GP for 3-4 sessions a week.
Due to an increase in our
patient list, we are seeking to recruit a Salaried GP to join our
well-organised, forward-thinking Partnership. The doctor we are seeking is a
highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic who thrives
on working as a part of a democratic team.
Riverside Medical Practice holds
a Sponsor licence for a skilled worker and welcome applications in this respect.
We offer a flexible and
supportive working environment, ideal for new GPs or experienced GPs looking
for a new challenge; the GP Partners have a range of experience . The
partnership would be supportive of professional development. Special interests
are welcome.
We have a strong team working
ethos and have daily coffee meetings where peer review/support is a priority.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will manage a
caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting,
ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary
patients.
About us
Whilst we work extremely hard,
the culture of the practice is friendly and welcoming. Prior to retirement,
several members worked at Riverside Medical Practice for over 15 years. We have
an informal meeting room where team members often enjoy lunch together.
The GP team meet daily for an
informal coffee catch up/peer support.
The team comprises of :
Two GP Partners, three Advanced
Care Practitioners providing acute appointments, a Physician Associate, three
Practice Nurses, a Health Care Assistant and two Trainee Nurse Associates.
The practice management team
compromises of the Practice Manager who has worked at the practice for over 40
years and a Deputy Manager.
The support team comprises of 14
clerical members of staff.

- Medical Practice Order 2003
- Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983
- Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
- Currently on a CCG Performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register.
- DBS clearance
- Evidence of time-relevant revalidation/appraisal cycle
Desirable
- Experience of working in primary care/GP Practice
