Job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced Independent Prescribing
Clinical Pharmacist to work 25/30 hours per week (flexible) over 2 sites to
commence as soon as possible.
Monday to Friday - no weekends
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Main duties of the job
Work collaboratively
within both practices with existing Clinical Pharmacists in dealing with
day-to-day medication queries and reviews and liaising with GPs, other
practice staff and members of the primary healthcare team to manage patient
care and through this support high quality, safe, cost effective, rational and
evidence-based prescribing.
Evolve and establish
flexible critical thinking in the clinical decision-making processes needed to
deliver safe and effective care in modern General Practice.
Work as part of a
multi-disciplinary team in a patient facing role to clinically assess and treat
patients using their expert knowledge of medicines for specific disease areas.
Be a qualified prescriber
About us
The 2 practices have a joint list size of approximately 5500 patients. Both practices are well-established with a low staff turnover. We are a very friendly team. The successful applicant will be able to work flexibly to suit both parties.

- GPhC reg.
- Pharmacist (min 2 years post qualification)
- NMP accredited
