Main duties of the job

This is a part-time post. To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.

About us

We have a wide ranging team including 8 GP Partners, 4 salaried GPs, 4 Nurse Practitioners, a paramedic and 5 HCAs. Our reception team is 8, secretaries 5 and admin team 5. We also have a dispensary with 11 staff. Along with the usual general practice services we are the local MIU.

We are a large team but get on well and there is no feeling of hierarchy at all, the GPs are human too :-)

We get lots of compliments from our patients about being the best practice they've ever been at which is heartening as we all work hard to give the best service we can.
