Main duties of the job

Wickford PCN is seeking a passionate and qualified GP to join our multidisciplinary team (MDT). We invite newly qualified GPs who have completed their training within the last two years to apply. You'll be expected to work in accordance with GMC standards and demonstrate good medical practice while meeting DES requirements. In this role, you will work across the practices, providing clinical care, including home visits, to our diverse patient population for4 to 5 sessions per week.

About us

About Us:Wickford PCN are a collaboration of 3 GP practices within the Wickford locality. This includes Robert Frew Medical Centre with a branch practice at Shotgate Surgery, The London Road Surgery, and Swanwood Partnership. They have a total patient list size of around 39,000 patients and have been working collectively to support, improve and add value to the clinical and holistic services offered through primary care for the patients in this area. The network is currently looking for a GP who is flexible and is a good team player.

What we are looking for

Wickford PCN is seeking a passionate and qualified GP to join our multidisciplinary team (MDT). We invite newly qualified GPs who have completed their training within the last two years to apply. You'll be expected to work in accordance with GMC standards and demonstrate good medical practice while meeting DES requirements. In this role, you will work across the practices, providing clinical care, including home visits, to our diverse patient population for4 to 5 sessions per week.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

You must be a Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, and be included on the NHS performers list.

The applicant must have been qualified after October 2022, therefore, have been qualified for less than 2 years.

You will be required to fulfil a range of duties in line with each practice specific priority areas. This means your role will be exciting, diverse and involve a broad range of patient care. Due to this fact, you will be required to hold a full UK driving licence as the role may involve travel to care homes and/or patients residential homes.
