Job summary
We
are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Practice Paramedic Prescriber to
join our very friendly practice team. The ideal candidate would be a qualified
Paramedic/Prescriber who would be able to provide care for our patient from
referral, history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and
evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision making and
expert care. They will be able to demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical
decision-making process.
The
successful candidate can be employed on either a full time or part time basis
with the hours being negotiable. Salary
would be competitive, and dependent upon relevant skills and experience.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to best meet the needs of our patient population. The successful applicant will work as an independent practitioner and non-medical prescriber, whilst adhering to all relevant professional, legal, statutory, and regulatory guidelines.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering safe and effective care to the whole practice population, working closely with the remaining clinical team, and the wider practice team in order to provide good quality care to our local patient population.

Medical Group is a small town/semi-rural practice which provides patient
services to over 16,150 patients from our two purpose-built practices in Long
Sutton and Sutton Bridge. Our practices are located in the south of the county
of Lincolnshire, closely bordering the counties of both Norfolk and
Cambridgeshire. We work closely with the South Lincolnshire & Rural Primary
Care Network (SLRPCN) which has a total of 9 practices
