Job responsibilities

In this role, the GP will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic healthcare solutions. The successful candidate will actively engage in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives, utilizing MMMWF PCN innovative technology to optimize patient experiences and improve care outcomes.

Eligible applicants must be on NHS Englands medical practitioner list as outlined in section 91 of the NHS Act 2006, hold full registration with the GMC on the General Practitioner Register, and have completed their GP training (Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice) within the past two years. They should also demonstrate professional integrity with no suspensions or regulatory restrictions and agree to MMWF PCN employment terms within the PCN framework.

The position requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK, medical indemnity insurance, and an enhanced DBS check, along with a digital badge for secure system access. • ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Registration and Certification
• Be included in NHS Englands list of medical practitioners as per section 91 of the NHS Act 2006.
• Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the General Practitioner Register.
• Be a Newly Qualified GP who obtained their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice within the last two years, verifying completion of the postgraduate training required to practise independently.
• Professional Standing
• Not be prohibited from providing services due to regulation breaches (e.g, NHS Performers Lists Regulations).
• Not be suspended from practice by the NHS or from the GMCs list of medical practitioners.
• Not be subject to any interim suspension orders from the GMC under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
• Employment Terms
• Agree to be employed directly by MMWF for a PCN and commit to the required working hours.
• Be employed on terms at least as favourable as those outlined in the Model terms and conditions of service for a salaried general practitioner employed by a GMS practice.
• Other Requirements
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Successfully complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Be willing to engage in ongoing professional development as required by the ARRS.
