Job summary

Norfolk Park Health Centre is looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team of Nurses and HCAs. The ideal candidate would be dynamic, able to work on their own initiative, committed and a team player.

Main duties of the job

Your role would be to deliver effective healthcare to our patients, including long term condition management, wound management, vaccinations, and smears, depending on clinical competence.

You would also complete appropriate clinical coding in line with QOF and IIF targets.

We are looking to recruiit a Nurse for around 18 hours over 2 days per week.

About us

Norfolk Park Health Centre is a small friendly GP surgery close to the City Centre with a practice population of 5000 patients.

We have a purpose built modern building with staff parking, that hosts 3 GP's, an ANP, TNA, HCA and a dedicated Admin and Reception Team.

Removal of Sutures

Travel Clinic

Hypertension Management

Ear syringing

Routine immunisations/Childhood immunisations

as appropriate

Participation in administrative systems in the Practice

At all times there will be a need to maintain accurate records

Attend and participate in any Practice meetings when required.

Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post
