Salary Scale - £11,500 per session.

Full time or part time available

An exciting opportunity for Salaried GP at North Lewisham Primacy Care Network, working at the Enhanced Access Clinic under the new NHS England initiative to include GPs on the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) workforce for 6 months or more. Main duties of the job

Job specifications:

  • Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients, make timely decisions regarding future management including diagnosis, investigations, treatments, prescribing and referrals as appropriate, in line with guidelines and pathways.
  • Enhanced Access clinic sessions are open and are to cover out of hours times up to 8pm on weekdays and also on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm which will be on an agreed rota basis.
  • Support and clinically supervise our Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) staff - care co-ordinators, social prescribers, care navigators, etc.
    • Support nurses in the enhanced access clinics and long term conditions clinics - asthma, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, etc and involvement in some QOF work as per usual in GP surgeries.
    • As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, work together with other members of the healthcare team and mental health and well-being coaches.
